You start out when playing the Alien as a facehugger, then advance or move on to chestbuster then a regular Alien. The levels are creepy, claustrophobic, atmospheric and well detailed. The music is moody as well and changes when enemies are nearby. I have not tried multiplayer yet, but the single player game is great.
All in all a great game based on the movies. One person found this helpful. This is still the King of games set in the Aliens universe. I played the original Aliens vs Predator when it came out for free on Steam, then tried this one. AvP 2 is slightly dated, but still playable. The Marines campaign is less claustrophobic than in the original the shoulder lamp helps a LOT , but still contains great atmosphere and a few great jump scares.
The ways in which the three storylines weave together is clever and will make you smile when you recognize "yourself" from another campaign. The dialogue and voice acting are a little lacking, but I have to salute the game for storytelling ambition.
I wish they would make a modern sequel to the series of this caliber. You settle right into it. Full of great scenes and action, I like to play games like Call Of Duty at Veteran difficulty setting, This one was a delight to play and is well made, Much fun. Go it but it doesnt work in Win7.
Still one of my fave games of all time. I just broke down and bought the AVP on Steam. Its no AVP2 but it helps me scratch the itch a little. Could not have arrived faster or in better condition. Despite limited graphics by today's standards the game has a better story and atmosphere than many, many games with far better graphics. Thanks for the game it works great. Predator 3!! This by far is the best. NO the graphics are not great when you compared them to todays next gen graphics but they are still good.
And the game play is freaking awesome. Very close to the alienn and comics. There is also a very very large community that make maps and other mods for the game.
I think have 6gbs of just mods and predatoe and that isn't everything. People have made maps from Star Trek to Star Wars. Even with out the mods you have a lot of maps, characters, modes to choose from.

I tried downloading alien vs predator 2 pc game game 3 separate times the same day and the game wouldn't work. I use a defragmenter in the background Diskeeper.
